My Spirit of Adventure is you.

National Day Celebration was cool, While it wasn't a celebration per se, since I doubt singing a few national songs can hardly be considered as a celebration, it was surprisingly good for once. When you are presented with this small opportunity to just revel in the celebrations, with thoughts of a long weekend ahead, its just good to let your hair down and be crazy for once. I was a bit bumped out when the celebrations were so short, I would have enjoyed a few more songs. The Singapore flags that they gave out turned out to be quite fun - watching people stack the flags into tall proud pillars of Singapore flags and waving them flags with such gusto was nice for a change. Indeed, National Day feels like something truly worth celebrating this year. That little tingle of electricity running the length of my spine as I sing the cheesy NDP songs like everyone around me - the voice of 1000 people unified by a brief moment of celebration and patriotism.

Lynnette, Simeng, Yansin and Surya went to Leisure Park to watch Up after that, and what a magical movie that was. Draggy at times, but it really is an amazing movie. Plus the music is so romantic and at times and ever so poigant. In some ways, maybe watching Up was a better choice over G.I.Joe even though the movie poster was begging to me to watch it. Lol. Profound movie - 'Thanks for the adventure, now go have yours.' Beautiful.
